拱极门，这座见证了太原历史的古老城门，如今已成为探寻城迹旧事、品味人文历史的绝佳之地。这座砖木结构、三层四檐歇山顶楼阁式建筑，上下各层以木梯相通，是太原八座城门中从未更名的一座城门，也是至今保存完整的城门。
