9月3日，华中分公司投资建设的华能湖北虚拟电厂正式商运。
该项目目前可调节容量100兆瓦，按照单次调节时长为2小时计算，预计每年可节省燃煤0.46万吨，降低二氧化碳排放1.14万吨，具有良好的经济效益和环境效益。
