韩国釜山召开的第37届国际地质大会上，全球第二批100个地质遗产地名录公布，我国有3地入选，分别是《植物庞贝城——乌达二叠纪植被化石产地》（内蒙古）、《自贡大山铺恐龙化石群遗址》（四川）和《桂林喀斯特》（广西）。至此，我国已有10个全球地质遗产地。
