温哥华警方正在调查该市市中心煤气镇（Gastown）所发生的涉枪谋杀案。
周四凌晨3点30分左右，警方接到报警称在East Cordova Street和Carrall Street交叉口附件有人被枪击。急救人员在现场提供了紧急医疗服务，但男子在被送往医院之前就伤重不治。
没有人被捕，嫌疑人在逃。
警方没有确认死者是否与枪手相互认识。整个周四一天，现场都可以看到收集证据的法医。
