7月22日，受上游局部地区强降雨影响，黄河中游支流云岩河出现短时涨水过程，河水裹挟着泥沙流入黄河，使得壶口瀑布出现西边浊浪翻滚、东边清流奔泻的奇特景观。滚滚黄河水奔腾而下，吸引了不少游客前来观赏。
