2月16日，“衡阳晚报”微信公众号发布《情况通报》，详情如下：
2月15日15时29分许，湖南衡阳珠晖区东风路香悦食府发生火灾，过火面积100余平方米。市、区消防救援队伍接报后于15时35分陆续到达现场。16时40分，现场明火被扑灭。共有14人送医救治。其中，7人经检查后留院观察；5人在院治疗伤势较轻；另有2人伤势危重，正在全力救治中。起火原因正在调查中。
