香港特区政府统计处1月25日发布数据，2023年12月香港整体出口和进口货值均录得按年升幅，分别上升11.0%和11.6%。整年来说，2023年的商品整体出口货值较2022年下跌7.8%。同时，商品进口货值下跌5.7%。2023年录得有形贸易逆差4,676亿元，相等于商品进口货值的10.1%。
经季节性调整的数字显示，2023年第四季与对上一季比较，商品整体出口货值上升3.3%。同时，商品进口货值上升2.6%。
