1月19日，记者从2023年重庆市经济运行情况新闻发布会获悉，2023年年末重庆常住人口3191.43万人，比上年末减少21.91万人。
记者梳理发现，这是重庆多年来首次常住人口下降。
数据显示，2023年，重庆出生人口17.88万人，人口出生率为5.58‰；死亡人口28.5万人，人口死亡率为8.9‰；人口自然增长率为-3.32‰。
