高楼大厦，
这都是现代城市的标志，
只有更繁华，
没有最繁华，
在广西，
第一座高楼大厦，
不是在省城南宁，
而是在柳州，
即是后来的柳州工贸大厦，柳州宾馆，
从1986年开工，
到1989年竣工，
当时广西在西南五省的队列里，
所以这栋楼也是当时西南地区第一座高楼。
