又一知名演员因躁郁症去世！还有两天，就是他44岁生日，太可惜了...

据外媒报道，美国男演员比利·米勒（Billy Miller）于德萨斯州奥斯汀离世，终年43岁。他的代表作有《年轻和骚动不安的一族》《综合医院》《金装律师》等经典美剧。

虽然未公布死因，但其发言人透露他死前受躁郁症（bipolar depression）困扰，认为可能是选择自杀结束生命，令很多人感到震惊和惋惜。

Miller was born on Sept. 17, 1979, and grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas. Throughout his childhood, he battled with tarsal coalition, a rare condition that affected the cartilage in his ankles.

米勒出生于1979年9月17日，在德克萨斯州的大草原长大。整个童年时期，他都在与“跗骨联合”作斗争，这是一种罕见的疾病，影响了他脚踝的软骨。

His break into theentertainment industrycame when he was signed as a model to Wilhelmina, and later went on to play Richie Novak from 2007 to 2008 in thesoap opera“All My Children.”

Miller then moved over to “The Young and the Restless” to take over the role of Billy Abbott.

Miller’s role on “The Young and the Restless” landed him three Daytime Emmys, including two for outstandingsupporting actorin a drama series and outstandinglead actorin a drama series.

Miller played the roles of Jason Morgan and Drew Cain on “General Hospital,” starring as a series regular until 2019 and then joining “Suits” for five episodes.

"I want to personally thank the many fans & personal friends for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers & condolences sent to me and my family on the devastating death of my beautiful son BJ — Billy Miller," she said in a statement to Soap Opera Digest. "He fought a long hard valiant battle withbipolar depressionfor years. He did everything he could to control the disease."

比如荷兰后印象派画家文森特·梵高（Vincent Gogh）也深受其折磨，所有后世将他的生日3月30日定为“世界双相情感障碍日”。

Bipolar disorder, previously known as manic depression, is a mental disorder characterized by periods of depression and periods of abnormally elevated mood that each last from days to weeks.

During mania, an individual behaves or feels abnormally energetic, happy orirritable, and they often make impulsive decisions with little regard for the consequences.There is usually also a reduced need for sleep during manic phases.

During periods of depression, the individual may experience crying and have a negative outlook on life and poor eye contact with others.The risk ofsuicideis high; over a period of 20 years, 6% of those with bipolar disorder died by suicide, while 30–40% engaged in self-harm.

在抑郁期，患者可能会哭泣，对生活抱有消极的看法，不怎么与他人进行眼神交流。躁郁症患者自杀的风险很高；在20年的时间里，6%的躁郁症患者死于自杀，而30-40%的躁郁症患者会伤害自己。
