IT之家 9 月 1 日消息，开发者 Alessandro Paluzzi 通过逆向编译应用程序，暗示在今年 10 月开始，Meta 公司将会关闭 Facebook 和 Instagram 跨应用消息。
IT之家翻译截图内容如下：“Meta 公司有望在 10 月中旬作出调整，用户无法在 Instagram 上和 Facebook 好友聊天，相关内容会变为只读模式。页面会提供相应的按钮，引导用户跳转到 Messenger 或者 Facebook 应用继续展开聊天”。
Meta 公司于 2020 年开始，允许 Instagram 用户在不跳转应用的情况下，和 Facebook 和 Messenger 上的好友聊天。
包括回复、转发、自定义聊天背景在内，Messenger 应用程序的几个功能也渗透到 Instagram 应用程序中。
