20年租借期满，“丫丫”正式移交中方！

4月7日，旅美大熊猫“丫丫”租借期满。

当地时间8日，美国孟菲斯动物园的游客们在大熊猫“ 丫丫”返回中国前的告别派对上向她说再见。

美联社称，这场欢送仪式标志着孟菲斯动物园与中国动物园协会20年租借协议的结束，8日后 “ 丫丫 ”起居生活就全部移交给中方。

On Saturday, the Memphis Zoo held a farewell party for Ya Ya to wish her a safe trip home at the end of this month and to celebrate the 20-year partnership between the zoo and the Chinese Association of Zoological Gardens, according to the zoo on Twitter.

孟菲斯动物园首席执行官兼总裁马特·汤普森 （Matt Thompson）表示，动物园的工作人员和中国饲养员将共同照顾 “ 丫丫 ”，直到她4月底返回中国。

Since Chinese caretakers have arrived the zoo, recent livestreaming videos of Ya Ya, who was bony, showed that the senior panda is seemingly putting on some flesh with fresh young bamboos and bamboo shoots available to her. Ya Ya has long suffered from a skin disease due to parasite infections, which caused her to shed much of her fur.
