IT之家 3 月 22 日消息，开发者 @aaronp613 深入挖掘今天发布的 iOS 16.4 RC 版本，在系统代码中发现了型号为 A3048 的 AirPods 耳机、以及型号为 A2968 的 AirPods 保护套。
苹果在 2021 年更新了 AirPods 产品线，IT之家根据国外科技媒体 MacRumors 报道认为，苹果现阶段不会推出新的 AirPods 产品。
相关代码虽有提及新款 AirPods，但目前没有相关爆料表示苹果会推出新款 AirPods。报道中还认为下一款 AirPods 的充电接口可能会从 Lightning 端口切换到 USB Type-C 端口。
