咨询新城镇有无计划将镇名变更为十二圩古镇。
随着新城与十二圩合并，新城镇可以像月塘模式一样更名为十二圩古镇，这样有利于提升镇区知名度，更利于发展以及开发区国家级园区创建工作。

2023年2月21日，承办人和服务对象电话联系，告知暂未接到上级通知进行更名，服务对象已知晓。
