据路透社2月22日报道，三位知情人士称，美国芝加哥商业交易所（CME）计划推出一份新的镍合约，将使用英国全球商品控股公司（GCH）即将推出的新平台的价格结算，寻求与伦敦金属交易所（LME）的镍期货合约竞争。CME已与GCH就该项目讨论了数月。GCH对CME的计划不予置评，但表示其现货镍交易平台将在3月底前上线。
