英国人说话讲究“客套”，因而在对话中免不了“话中有话”。
最近，一位外国博主做了一系列视频，诙谐地“翻译”了一些日常使用的英式英语表达，说出了这些话的真实含义……
如果两个人意见不一时，英国人说：
“Let’s agree to disagree.” 让我们求同存异吧。
可能真实想法是：
You’re wrong but I’m tired. 你错了，但我懒得跟你争了。
讨论计划时英国人说一句：
“What could go wrong?” 还能出啥岔子呢？
那可能其实是在想：
I’m expecting nothing but disaster. 这事恐怕会一团糟。
如果英国人跟你说：
Yeah, I remember you saying. 是啊，我记得你说过。
那或许是在吐槽：
This is the millionth time you’ve said it. 这事你已经说过上万遍了。
有网友看完视频表示赞同：“每一句都是真的”，“这很British” 。
也有人觉得“全球通用”。
这位博主显然掌握了英式英语的精髓。

Saying 'You’re welcome' as quietly as possible to people that don't say thank you is a form of punishment.
如果你没有说“谢谢”，但英国人却幽幽地说上了一句“不客气”……嗯，这就是对你的惩罚。
当然，以上内心戏很多的英式英语纯属调侃，不适用于所有情况。
