2022年12月7日，蜂巢能源科技股份有限公司与澳大利亚上市公司ST GEORGE签署非约束性谅解备忘录。根据备忘录，双方将建立战略合作关系，蜂巢能源拟以不超过500万澳元的额度战略投资ST GEORGE，协助开发后者位于西澳的Mt Alexande锂辉石矿项目，并将获得该项目25%的锂矿包销权。双方亦在探讨其他锂矿项目的合作机会。
