集微网消息，据IAM报道，近日小米与日本最大的移动运营商NTT Docomo续签5G标准必要专利（SEP）许可协议。
公开资料显示，NTT Docomo一直在研究W-CDMA、LTE、LTE-Advanced、5G、6G等网络进步相关技术，以及AI、IoT等新服务相关技术。截至2021财年末，该公司拥有约4000项国内专利和约9000项海外专利。
根据东京调研公司Cyber Creative Institute的调查数据，NTT Docomo在5G必要专利中的份额位居全球第4，在全球电信运营商中排名第1。
据悉，除了小米外，NTT Docomo与vivo、OPPO、三星、华为、HTC等手机制造商也签订了专利许可协议。
