POSITION:Artist Services Coordinator

START DATE:ASAP

CONTRACT PERIOD:3 years

SALARY & BENEFITS:Dependent on experience

LOCATION:Remote 4 days a week, 1 day a week in office in downtown Shanghai (Subject to change in the next 6 months)

We are currently looking for a new Artist Services Coordinator to join our Split Works team. We are interested to hear from marketing professionals who have a passion for a variety of music genres and possess media know-how to make creative and thought-provoking marketing strategies that can help artists to grow better in China.

This position demands that candidates are native Mandarin speakers who possess a high degree of mastery of this language.

Our team is made up of young & passionate problem-solvers, and we’re constantly looking for new and unconventional ways to bring music to China.

Split Works is a small, flexible company, so there is plenty of opportunity to define the role and make it yours.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and regularly maintain our individual artist services channels via regular posts across multiple channels (Netease Music, QQ Music, Douyin, RED, etc.)

- Develop tailored content plans for our artist service clients

- Help artists build a strong presence on major Chinese social media

- Design and execute strong and effective media/marketing campaigns for artists

- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with Chinese DSPs, online platforms, KOLs and media

- Assist the A&R team in new talent identification and signing

- Produce client reports

To be successful, you will require:

- Native mandarin, good working command of English

- A genuine love for music

- Prefer 1 - 2 years' experience in a role creating successful marketing campaigns

- Successful experience in building social media accounts from zero to hero

- Decent media/UGC creator/KOL resources

- The ability to come up with effective promotion strategy for artists

- Deep knowledge of traditional/new/social media

- Proactive, self-motivated and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

- Positive attitude, customer-focused with ability to multi-task
