Customs data shows that in the first five months of this year, container traffic of 830,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) was registered on the shipping routes linking Qingdao with ports in other BRICS countries.
This is an increase of 12 percent year-on-year, while the export volume increased by 26.1 percent.
