6月24日，200辆纯电动牵引车和自卸车从位于郧西县的湖北天道新能源汽车制造有限公司缓缓驶出，发往郑州、天津，这标志着湖北省最大民营新能源重卡企业正式量产。
天道新能源汽车是郧西县引进的一家新能源汽车整车及配件制造企业，项目总投资32亿元，占地533亩，主打纯电动汽车产品，满产可年产5万辆。
