6月1日17时00分，四川省雅安市芦山县发生6.1级地震。重庆市消防救援总队共集结7个支队，包括2支地震救援重型搜救队、3支地震救援轻型搜救队、2支地震救援机动力量，共97辆消防车、500名指战员、6条搜救犬，携带72小时自我保障物资，以及生命探测、破拆起重、顶撑支护、警戒洗消等装备器材共计1.4万余件套在营区集结，做好了随时出动去当地驰援的准备。
