在今日举行的PAX East 2022展会中，2K Games与开发商Gearbox宣布将推出《无主之地 传说》全新作，由Gearbox内部工作室进行开发，预计在夏季正式公布，2022年内发售，将讲述新的冒险、新角色、新传说。 这个叙事冒险类型的外传作品于2014年在主机与PC平台推出了第一作，由Telltale Games负责开发。
另外Gearbox还透露《无主之地3》PS5/PS4版的跨平台游玩支持将于近期上线，预计今年春季晚些时候更新，届时可与XSX|S、Xbox One、PC版玩家一同联机。
