11月1日，中国足协官方宣布：经与各方协商并报亚足联批准，2022卡塔尔世界杯亚洲区预选赛最终阶段B组第五轮中国队与阿曼队、第六轮中国队与澳大利亚队的比赛，将分别于11月11日、11月16日在阿联酋沙迦举行。开球时间待确定后公布。
中国国家男子足球队将于北京时间11月7日凌晨启程，再度前往阿联酋沙迦，全力以赴完成备战和比赛任务。
