2021年10月11日下午，顺德区第十六届人大常委会第五十七次会议召开，审议了有关人事任免议案。会议经表决通过，决定任命区柱明同志为顺德区人民政府副区长、代理区长。
因工作变动，王勇同志提出辞去顺德区人民政府区长职务。会议决定接受王勇同志的辞职请求。
