7月29日，小朋友在河南省鹤壁市浚县黎阳中学长丰校区安置点内吃晚饭。为应对豫北强降雨，河南相继启用了8座蓄滞洪区，累计转移人口40.46万人，当地将学校、图书馆等开辟为群众安置点，志愿者们带孩子们开展读书、跳舞等文体活动。
