7月14日，书法家支荣慧在中国收藏界主流媒体、文化周刊《收藏快报》2021年第27期15版“书画”栏目发表《袁桷<雅潭帖>遒媚劲健顿挫明》。
文章认为，《雅潭帖》为应酬信札，信笔书写，无拘无束，行笔刻意精致，章法自然得体而具法度，遒媚劲健，顿挫分明，用笔结字颇有法度，法书米南宫印迹非常明显，笔法、结体多有相似，具有米芾沉着痛快，刻意追求欹侧奇险的妙处。同时，也醉心于骨力之体现，精心于中锋逆势运行，细心于护头藏尾，徐徐将神力贯注线条之中，显出清秀俊逸之感。
