广州荔湾警方14日晚通报，一名男子游泳离开防疫封控区被警方依法查处。通报称，6月12日22时许，荔湾警方在海珠警方协助下，查获一名通过游泳离开防疫封控区的男子。该男子从荔湾区近洲头咀隧道亲水码头下水，游泳横渡珠江至海珠区永兴街码头。对该男子违反广州市疫情防控有关决定、命令，擅自离开封控区域，荔湾警方依据相关法律规定，给予其行政拘留5日的处罚。
