为配合三门峡市城乡一体化示范区大王镇移民综合体建设项目，经国家文物局批准，河南省文物考古研究院委托三门峡市文物考古研究所对项目占压区域的墓葬进行了抢救性发掘。此次发掘共发掘清理出明清时期墓葬共29座，其中包含20座明代墓葬。
