公开资料显示，SNH48是一以上海为中心活动的中国女子偶像团体，原为日本女子偶像团体AKB48的姐妹团体。
2016年双方中止合作关系后，由中国丝芭文化传媒独立营运，并进一步建立SNH48 Group系统，目前除了SNH48外，还有以北京为据点的BEJ48、以广州为据点的GNZ48，以及以重庆为据点的CKG48。
