北京时间5月3日，巴伦西亚官方宣布，主教练格拉西亚下课。
格拉西亚出生于1970年，在2020年7月正式接手巴伦西亚，执教蝙蝠军团尚不满1年。
在执教巴伦西亚前，格拉西亚还曾执教过沃特福德、喀山红宝石、马拉加等队。
本赛季，在格拉西亚的带领下，巴伦西亚战绩不佳，34场联赛仅积36分，排在西甲第14位，高于降级区6分。
