据了解，受道路坡度影响，阜阳颍河闸限高栏最高处为 2.44米（路肩位置），中间位置高度数值最低，为2.2米。如车辆高度接近2.2米，恰好从限高栏最低高度位置处通过时，可能会出现卡住的现象。
阜城颍河闸及跨船闸大桥采取限高管制措施，禁止2.2米以上的大中型客货车通行，请超过2.2米以上客货运车辆从朝阳大道、向阳路绕行。
