2020年江西省男子篮球联赛10月24日在吉安市城南体育馆拉开战幕。揭幕战上，吉安代表队77∶101不敌萍乡代表队。
为推动我省篮球运动的普及开展，省体育局主办、省篮球协会承办了迄今我省规模最大的业余篮球联赛。比赛设A组、B组两个组别，分常规赛、季后赛、总决赛三个阶段进行，赛期两个多月，全省11个设区市和省直机关工委共12支球队参赛。(记者郁鑫鹏)
