为了应对冠状病毒(covid19)，当地时间5月1日，美国公民和移民服务局（USCIS） 宣布扩大其3月30日宣布的灵活性，进一步放宽新冠疫情期间“补件”规则，对于需要或已经被要求补件的申请人，移民局已将补件时间从截止日期向后顺延60天。
