3月24日，国务院联防联控机制举行新闻发布会，国家中医药管理局专家组成员王融冰介绍，清肺排毒汤已扩展到疑似病例使用，反馈反映良好。截至23日的样本数据，1265例确诊患者没有一例转为重型，没有一例转为危重型，98%以上患者已经治愈出院。重点观测的57例重型患者中，42例已经出院，服用清肺排毒汤患者没有肝损伤。
