11月21日，重庆江津一位钓鱼爱好者在长江边钓到一条从未见过的大鱼，遂赶忙向警方及渔政部门求助。相关人员赶到后，发现该鱼系国家一级保护动物长江鲟，经测量该鱼长2.18米，重达百余斤。据渔政部门工作人员介绍，如此大的长江鲟出现在长江极为罕见，说明近年来长江渔业资源的保护取得了良好的效果。最后，渔政部门工作人员将该鱼放归了长江。
