一天晚上纽约大范围停电，钱德勒碰巧和一个内衣模特吉儿·古亚克被困在ATM取款机室。钱德勒很想过去搭讪又不知道该怎么做，于是打电话到莫妮卡家求助。为了不让吉儿听到自己在向朋友求助搭讪的方法，钱德勒故意改变说话的语调。
