Google 将于8月21 日正式发布新操作系统Android O。
今次的发布会可是很特别，因为发布会当日美国将会同时出现日全食，而Google更推出一个以日全食为主题的
倒计时网站
。所以根据这个倒计时显示Android O将于8月21日美国东部标准时间下午4点发布（北京时间凌晨4点）。
Google 7月初发布了最后一个Android O Beta版，但是对于Android O 的正式代号，一直没有太多的消息，外界猜测的代号有可能是Oreo、Octopus、Oatmeal Cookie 或Orangina 等。
不过外界从Google 的倒数网站的设计中，Google 特意制作出日全食的动画，黑色的颜色及圆形的外观，估计今次的命名很大可能会是Oreo。
