陈向东在跟谁学IPO日早餐会上演讲：成就从来都是来源于成就客户

2019年6月6日，以K12在线教育为主的跟谁学成功在美国纽交所挂牌上市，股票代码为“GSX”。跟谁学或成赴美上市在线教育公司中增速最快且规模化盈利的公司。作为首家盈利的K12在线教育公司在美国纽交所挂牌上市，跟谁学更加证明了在线直播双师大班模式的可行性和高效性。

在6月6日的早餐会上，跟谁学创始人陈向东发表了公开演讲。全文如下：

Ladies and gentlemen,

Good morning!

Today we come together to witness this exciting moment, of each of us, for each of us, and by each of us. WE make GSX more attractive, respected and trustworthy. WE make each of us more confident, dedicated and powerful! WE make education better through technology. WE make things happen! Let us express deep gratitude and indebtedness to our family, friends, colleagues, partners, media companions, investors, and last but not the least, our students and parents. They are the most important and irreplaceable part of WE and It is them that make WE become a better WE!

There are four types of people in the world. Those who make things happen. Those to whom things happen to. Those who watch things happen. And those who doesn’t even know that things are happening. I am proud to say that WE are those who make things happen! We are so fortunate to be riding on the explosive growth in online education and we will do everything in our power to grasp this opportunity.

Long before we came to IPO, our success has been all about customer success, which means to guarantee the most experienced teachers, the most dedicated partners, building trust and engagement, delivering the best learning experience, and achieving the best learning results. After our IPO, it is still these exact same things that matter the most to us. It is our intense focus on our customers that has led GSX to become the first Chinese online K12 IPO on the NYSE. We believe that if we continue to carry this customer focus to the extreme, we will achieve even more.

With great power comes great responsibility. When we were kids, what we aspired to is making a difference in our family. When we begin to work, what we aspire to is making a difference in the workplace. When we look into the future, what we aspire to is making a difference in China’s online education sector. We are obliged to take the responsibility for our mission to make education better through technology and devoted to being the role model with the following principles:

1. Always DAY 1.

2. Always customer obsession.

3.Always stay foolish, stay hungry.

4.Always insist on the highest standards.

5.Always dedicate to colleagues.

6.Always dive deeper and earn trust of others.

7.Always be vocally self critical.

8.Always deliver results.

9.Always hold on to our honesty, down-to–earthness, proactiveness, and cooperation.

10.Always keep our beauty, hope, cheer, courage, and power.

Today is a milestone for GSX. And a lot of investors have been saying GSX is one of the best providers of online live K12 large class after school tutoring, which leads each of us to think:

1.Is it really true?

2.Are we really the best?

3.Could we be the best?

4.Can you prove to yourself that we are the best?

5.Can you prove to our students and parents that we are the best?

Today is a new start for GSX. What we raise from investors today is not simply money, but trust. What we receive from parents is not simply fees, but trust. Let us remain humble every year, every month, every day, every hour, every minute, and every second. Let’s work hard to deserve the fortune, deserve the trust, and deserve our being here.

Today is a new journey for GSX. Starting from today, GSX will become a public company. With the mission to make education better through technology, we strive to become a respected institution of education. Always remember: we are of the students, for the students, and by the students. Now let us start to write more exciting chapters!

In the end, let me express even more gratitude to WE, including our former colleague and teammates who no longer worked at GSX, to our family, to all those who cared about, supported and helped us, to the great times that we are in, and to our country. We’re truly grateful for everything.

世界上有四种人：让事情发生的人，事情发生在他们身上的人，旁观事情发生的人，以及那些甚至不知道事情发生了的人。我可以很自豪地说，我们是那些让事情发生、让一切成为可能的人！我们是如此的幸运，赶上了在线教育的极速增长，我们会尽己所能抓住这一难得的机遇。

在我们上市之前，我们的成就从来都是百分之百来源于成就客户。成就客户意味着确保最有经验的老师、拥有最投入的伙伴、建立信任和参与度、提供最好的学习体验、以及达到最好的学习效果。在我们上市之后，我们最重视的也还是上面提到的这些。是我们对客户的高度专注，成就了我们成为第一家在美国上市的中国在线K12教育公司。我们相信，只要我们继续把成就客户做到极致，我们就能获得更大的成功！

能力越大，责任越大。当我们都还是孩童，我们立志在家庭中有所作为。当我们开始工作，我们立志在公司里有所作为。当我们展望未来，我们立志在中国的在线教育行业做出一番天地。我们有义务担起我们的责任，秉承我们“科技让教育更美好”的使命，致力于通过以下原则成为行业榜样：

5.我们能否向学生和家长证明我们是最好的？

今天是跟谁学新的开始。我们今天从投资者中获得的不只是资金，而是信任。我们从家长获得的不只是学费，而是信任。让我们每年、每月、每天、每小时、每分每秒保持谦卑，让我们更加努力，努力配得上这份大运气、配得上这份信任、配得上我们在这里的每分每秒。
