当地时间8月29日，老挝北部琅南塔省宣布全省进入灾害紧急状态。
据悉，连日暴雨在当地引发大面积洪涝及山体滑坡，灾情波及范围广，基础设施受损严重。目前暂无人员伤亡消息。
此外，因琅南塔机场遭洪水淹没，老挝航空已暂时取消万象至琅南塔的往返航班，直至情况恢复正常。(央视新闻）
