瑞金医院金山院区8月28日正式开诊，前3天挂号费全免。开诊首日，院区就迎来超5000人次就诊。瑞金王牌科室——内分泌、血液科、烧伤创面、消化道肿瘤等也齐齐亮相，"专家号”更是火速约满。不少金山地区居民表示，新院区的落成可以免去他们往返市区医院看病的辗转，在家门口就能接受高水平的三甲医疗服务。
