8月28日，阿联酋电信和数字政府监管局（TDRA）向SpaceX旗下星链（Starlink）发放为期10年的通用卫星服务牌照，允许其在阿联酋建设、运营和管理公共卫星电信网络，并提供卫星宽带互联网服务。
星链服务将覆盖个人、企业和政府机构，并为海事及航空领域提供卫星连接。TDRA表示，该牌照将使卫星网络成为阿联酋国家数字基础设施的一部分，与光纤和5G网络形成互补，提升数字基础设施韧性和服务连续性，并支持关键行业及应急响应。
