蒙镶制作工艺，是一种在中国传统金属工艺基础上发展起来的特殊工艺，距今已有2000多年的历史。它以金、银、铜、铁、锡、玉石等为原料，通过锤敲、錾刻、镶嵌等多种手法，制作出精美绝伦的工艺品。其镶嵌的工艺主要以包镶为主，制作工艺繁杂，有着悠久的传承历史。
