全球疫苗免疫联盟（Gavi）8月18日披露，刚果（金）政府正考虑在Bundibugyo型埃博拉疫情中使用现有Ervebo疫苗，WHO免疫战略咨询专家组将于8月19日召开特别会议，讨论其在随机临床试验及扩大紧急使用中的具体指导。
Ervebo目前获批用于Zaire型埃博拉，动物研究提示可能对Bundibugyo型产生交叉保护。
Gavi称全球应急库存约44万剂，可快速部署，同时已投入4000万美元支持针对性候选疫苗加速生产。
