8月13日，据Mysteel报道，淡水河谷（VALE.US）批准萨洛博铜矿粗粒浮选项目，预计2028年上半年投产，较原计划提前一年。该项目投资1.75亿美元，投产后年增铜产量约3万吨，助力公司2035年铜产量达70万吨目标。
