北京时间8月7日，据《每日邮报》记者Tom Collomosse报道，阿斯顿维拉越来越接受孔萨今夏可能离队的现实。
报道称，阿森纳仍未放弃签下这名英格兰中卫的希望，但需要提高报价。目前枪手此前提出的报价仅略高于阿斯顿维拉对孔萨设定的6000万英镑估值的一半，双方之间仍存在明显差距。
