2026年8月12日，C919迎来重要里程碑：中国国际航空使用C919执飞北京首都—乌兰巴托航线，航班号CA723/4，每日一班。这是C919首条定期国际客运航线。
去程15时起飞，17时15分到达；回程18时30分起飞，20时35分返回。该航线计划排至9月15日。此前国航已用C909执飞呼和浩特—乌兰巴托航线，乌兰巴托成为首个同时运营C919、C909的境外城市。
回顾C919历程：2015年总装下线，2017年首飞，2022年获证并交付，2023年商业首飞。8月12日，C919首次跨出国门，展现“中国智造”力量。
