彭博科技记者马克·古尔曼当地时间8月2日表示，苹果“毫无疑问”会提高iPhone价格，原因包括公司面临内存芯片和主设备处理器短缺的问题，以及iPhone 18 Pro和Pro Max中新的摄像头系统成本更高，“更不用说首款可折叠iPhone更为昂贵的设计了”。
古尔曼称，在很多情况下，iPad和Mac的价格上涨100到200美元，预计iPhone的价格涨幅也会在类似范围内，“至于折叠屏iPhone，应该做好起售价至少2000美元的准备，甚至可能更高”。
