1958年，北爱尔兰冒出一个脑洞大开的提案：抽干整个内伊湖，在湖床上划出新的行政区。这个想法要是落地，地图得彻底重画。
作家Jan Carson偏偏被这种疯狂的边角料迷住了。她把排湖造郡的设埋伏笔成了小说《Few and Far Between》的起点，故事里凭空浮起的湖中岛屿直接咬住了北爱问题那段血腥又真实的历史。
