北京时间7月30日，篮网球员本-萨拉夫接受了媒体采访，期间谈到了湖人球星卢卡-东契奇在比赛中的一些言论。
“我记得有一场比赛，他（东契奇）当时已经拿到了大概19分，然后他转向我们的替补席，对特伦斯-曼恩说：‘我的得分比你们球队整个赛季的胜场数还多。’”萨拉夫说道。
上赛季，篮网的战绩为20胜62负，他们最近三个赛季的总胜场数仅为78场。
